For many years now, the AFCEA Ottawa Chapter has taken the mandate to promote Information Technology Security and Information Protection and has conducted it’s IT Security Course and Case Study every fall for over 21 years.  The course is intended for an audience with a background in Information Technology but not necessarily in-depth knowledge in IT security.

This all inclusive course offers a complete range of IT Security topics presented by 20 different experts in their respective fields. Along with its recognized quality of content, the top notch facilities, lodging and food, participants have an opportunity to interact with leading experts in the IT Security community in Ottawa. Many past students report that this interaction was key in helping steer their career in IT Security in the private and public sectors. In fact, the government of Canada Information Technology Security community views this course as a useful IT Security training and awareness investment for any person mandated to deal with Information Security issues.
