About this Seminar
The purpose of this seminar is to give all a basic understanding of the International Trade Canada Canadian Export Control/US Re-Exports process and the Controlled Goods program. The information gained in this seminar will explore the process used by International Trade
Canada
on issuing an export permit and how this process may be affected by goods or products which have been previously exported under a contract to the
US
. It will also explore the Controlled goods program and industries related responsibilities. Industry will have the opportunity to provide insight to government attendees on their concerns or problems with Export Control Process or the Controlled Goods Program. The afternoon workshops will provide a unique opportunity for industry and government attendees to explore solutions to specific problems in these areas.
